As the economy begins to recover from what MarketWatch calls the pandemic recession, it’s time to discuss employment issues related to discrimination and other related issues. The topic is of particular relevance as about 1.1 million older workers (ages 55 and older) left the workforce between August 2020 and January 2021 due to the pandemic.
Typically age discrimination in the job market goes up in recessions when labor markets deteriorate.
